Hawaii Islands day1

Since i was sick while in Hawaii, my brain was sort of not working properly ....with 104F degree when i landed in Oahu. Thanks to God that i was ok but my body developed rashes and I was not able to eat much raw fish/seafood....so that is one regret - which Oahu is known for its fresh Japanese sushi...
However, since i never get a chance to organize my photos on any of my trip, i will try to divided by days. lots details were lost since i had a high fever. Sorry~

Day 1 -went to church called NEW HOPE CHURCH in OAHU in the morning. Check out their website. A very upbeat, friendly and Christ centered church.

Took a leisure walk by the North shore. (don't remember the name though...too many beaches there).
The relaxing atmosphere of Oahu is Magical....I felt much better after the walk...and seeing everyone smiling and playing....

You alone are my portion and my cup

Fresh picked May flowers from the road side of Roxbury, CT.
So simple....and so refreshing

A walk in the spring in Forest Park.
Beauty is everywhere.

Psalm 16: 5 Lord, you alone are my portion and my cup;
you make my lot secure.
6 The boundary lines have fallen for me in pleasant places;
surely I have a delightful inheritance.
7 I will praise the Lord, who counsels me;
even at night my heart instructs me.
8 I keep my eyes always on the Lord.
With him at my right hand, I will not be shaken.

Christmas day.

Taken on Christmas day. By Canon power Shot.
Jon really knows how to take pictures for me.

Looking back....this year 2011's Christmas one of the best so far.....
two years before the holidays were just a difficult time for me....thanks for God's grace and Jon...and his family for inviting me to their place. The memories of Christmas for me is rarely a happy one...

This is our afternoon adventure..in Bronx! (To be continued....), doesn't it look like Maine?

THUMB..the CAT.

Jon ...looking sleepy, ate too much?

SunMoon Lake- very impressed.....

The singing of the Shao Girls.

Just simply beautiful people. I can't take my eyes off from them.

 Never knew SunMoon lake is so beautiful....
She wears layers of veils, and every time i only see a glimpse of her and yet is stunned by her mysterious beauty, sorry i have to say its far more serene and clean than the "West lake" in HoungZhou.

Time to rest and be renewed.

I visited Palau, the island is still not yet developed into a Tourist Trap.
No Brand name boutiques,no Starbucks, no MacDonald...etc.

I Love the rawness of it.....though a bit inconvenient.

God's Creation is so amazing.

Palau is 3 and half hour flight from Taipei, direct.
The Taiwanese government has invested quite a bit into this island.

Postcard scenery. Right infront of my eyes.

Long Beach. This is where we dock and eat our lunch.
82F temperature every day. These photos were taken on December 2nd. HA HA, i escaped part of the winter!!

“God’s Love is like an ocean. You can swim in it, but you can never get to the bottom of it. His Love is beyond our abilities to reach its limits. What good news! God is love, and he loves us completely.”

Behind the old  Floyd Bennett Field there is a warehouse -looks totally abandoned...
Unless, you walk in....

There are a good amount of antique air crafts..
this is Brooklyn's best kept secret...(and its free).

Beaches

I want to warn people not to go to Orchard Beach in Bronx.
It IS the worst beach i have ever been to.
The cops are all over Watching You on this small man made beach. and the parking lot is a scam. They will charge you $8 with out telling you all the weird rules which applied on this ugly beach and wont give you a refund (We requested a refund right after we found out all the strange rules on the beach, which is only 10 minutes after, we Didn't even use any facility on that beach).
The Cops won't even let your feet to touch the water after the life guards have left. I mean, seriously, they will ARREST you if your toe touched the water.

On the other hand, the http://www.bahiahondapark.com/   beach in FL is heavenly. Except the jelly fish larva stings.....
*Sign* ...indeed its a very itch summer for me. However, i am very thankful to know that US has such a beauuuuutiful beach.
